Just a quick post about how photography is a great excuse to hoard beautiful things.
I collect plates, knifes, bread boards, old linen, bits of wood – anything that I can use to prop a food shoot.
I have boxes full of things I have not yet used – like the fish plate shown here, I love it – but put some food on it and the fish is gone.
I am always on the look out for hand made pottery plates – if you have any please let m eknow, I will pay good money for knackered stuff.
