I love cooking. I love baking more. So I could not pass up the opportunity to photograph the recently formed Cornwall Clandestine Cake Club.
The club is a part of a national network that brings together like minded bakers with the event being organised by Ellie from Barefoot Media and took place in the Quarterdeck Restaurant at the Nare Hotel. Admittedly I was a bit intimidated at first by the room full of people (I was expecting a small cluster around a table and I’m not too good at networking events), but when the cake rolled out I had a great time shooting everything in sight. The lovely Daphnie from BBC Radio Cornwall was there – her cake was beautiful red hue on the inside – it was delicious too.
Maria and the boys were happy when I brought home a couple of slices to enjoy!
