William Yard Bakery

This week I had a meeting in Plymouth. I don’t normally do meetings, so I used it as an excuse to finally check out the Royal William Yard Bakery.
It’s a bit like the Eden project bakery, a bit confusing when you first arrive as what to do. Once I had a coffee I began to enjoy the fact that they are doing things a bit differently.
It was a long meeting, and I enjoyed watching the amount of food on offer grow, as it was removed from the ovens in front of me. Really open plan and the benches were rough.
The food was delicious, and I could happily spend a day shooting there. If you have not been, do yourself a favour and check it out – great stuff.

yours is the first blog that I have ever enjoyed as much. Your phoyos are great. I am going to be in the west country of the U.K.for three weeks. Leaving for there next week. The food interests me very much. I am a semi retired chef livins in san francisco for the last 35 years. I have been traveling in Turkey for the last 20 years. Usually go for a month in October and A month in the spring. Last year was the first time I have gone to England and I must say I love it. Have yot ever been to Turkey? I am soon to have a cook book of that region and was interested to see if you have photographed there? Thanks for your help….DAVID
